Devotion Plan #3
J. Wilbur Chapman's Devotion
Study it through.
Never begin a day without mastering a verse from its pages. Ask God to help you focus on a specific verse within the passage you are reading.
Pray it in.
Never lay aside your Bible until the verse or passage you have studied has become a part of your being. Meditate on it.
Put it down.
Record any thoughts that God gives you in the margin of your Bible or in your notebook or journal. Writing is key!
Work it out.
Live out the truth you receive in the morning through each hour of the day. Don't let your day end without applying Scripture.
